Ask them out with a personal proposal link

For the question you only ask once. Write it once, get a link, send it wherever you already talk.

Create your propose link โ†’

The hardest part of asking someone out is rarely the words. It is saying them in real time, watching their face while they decide, and having to fill the silence.

A link removes that pressure from both sides. You get to write it properly instead of improvising, and they get to answer without having to perform a reaction on the spot. That tends to produce a more honest answer than the doorway conversation does.

How to word it

Three things do most of the work:

  • Be direct about what you are asking. "Do you want to get dinner on Friday" is a question. "We should hang out sometime" is not, and it will not get an answer.
  • Name a reason it is them. One sentence about something specific they said or did beats a paragraph of general praise.
  • Make no cheap to say. Explicitly saying that a no is fine and changes nothing is the single most useful line you can include. It also makes a yes mean more.

Avoid anything that reads as a countdown or an ultimatum. Pressure gets you compliance or silence, not interest.

How to send one

Write your message.

You also set the question they answer — the default is “Will you go out with me?”.

Choose how it opens.

Envelope, curtain, confetti, or no animation at all.

Send the link and wait.

They answer, and you get a private page showing what they picked.

Frequently asked questions

How does the propose link work?

You write the question and a short message, and get a link. They open it, tap yes or no, and can add a note. You see the answer on a private page.

Is it anonymous?

Only if you choose. You decide what goes in the sender field, though an answer is more likely if they know who is asking.

What if they say no?

You see the answer privately. Nothing is posted anywhere and nobody else is notified.

Is it free?

Yes, with no paid tier and nothing locked.

Can I send it more than once?

You can create as many links as you like, but sending repeatedly to the same person reads as pressure. One is usually the right number.
